Willmar Goaltender Cooper Olson Commits to Purdue NW

The Willmar WarHawks of the NA3HL are pleased to announce that goaltender Cooper Olson has committed to play ACHA Div. 1 hockey for Purdue Univ. Northwest.

Olson 20, 5’11 / 171lb. Goalie from Osseo, MN. Just finished his 2nd season of junior hockey in the NA3HL. His rookie year in 20-21, Cooper served and developed in a back up role playing 9 games with a 4.33 GAA and .879 SV%. Returning this season determined to become the starting goaltender for the WarHawks. Cooper put up a 16-3-0-1 record while appearing in 22 regular season games with an outstanding 2.04 GAA and .932 SV% while posting 3 shutouts. Earning himself a path to the NA3HL 2022 Top Prospects Tournament. Cooper finalized his time in juniors and with the WarHawks as the organizations goalie leader in wins in a single season (16) and career wins as a WarHawk.
