WarHawks Defenseman Tarducci Makes College Commitment

Mar 21, 2022

The Willmar WarHawks of the NA3HL are pleased to announce that defenseman Enzo Tarducci has committed to play ACHA Division I hockey at Grand Valley State University in Allendale, MI.

Tarducci, 20, just finished his final season of junior hockey. The 6′ 170 lb. native of Novi, MI, had 21 points (4 goals, 17 assists) in 47 games this season for the WarHawks.

Prior to joining the WarHawks, Tarducci spent time with the Corpus Christi IceRays of the North American Hockey League in the 2019-20 season and appeared in two games.

“Enzo has been on our radar since his time at Detroit Catholic Central. He fills an immediate need for us as we look to take the next step as a program. We had a great chat at the showcase right before Christmas and he has been a priority for our staff since. We love his game and what he brings on the ice. That being said, the intangibles he brings is what really makes him a special player. He understands the culture and expectations we have here. We are so excited to have him joining us this fall,” stated GVSU Head Coach Carl Trosien.

“We are extremely excited for Enzo. He was a great addition to our team this season. He is a solid two-way defenseman and is a great teammate. He is a well-rounded player who I know will do extremely well at GVSU,” added WarHawks Head Coach Kirk Olimb.

The WarHawks congratulate Enzo on his commitment and wish him all the best as his hockey career continues to move forward.
