Mar 14, 2022

The Willmar WarHawks of the NA3HL are pleased to announce that defenseman Ethan Mock has committed to play ACHA Division I hockey at the University of Jamestown in Jamestown, ND.

Mock, 20, just finished his final season with the WarHawks after spending the 2020-21 season in Willmar as well as the end of the 2019-20 season after his high school season had concluded. The 5’10” 180 lb. native of Bemidji, MN, had 21 points (6 goals, 15 assists) in 48 games this season.

Overall, in just over two NA3HL seasons, he appeared in 96 games and recorded 30 points.

“Ethan is an amazing human being. Well driven and will be an excellent fit in our Jimmie culture,” stated U of Jamestown’s Head Coach Dean Stork.

“We are extremely excited for Ethan. He has been a consistent contributor on the back end for us and he will certainly be missed. He is great on the PK, blocks shots, and is a great teammate. He’s been a joy to coach these past two-plus years and I know he will do extremely well at the U of Jamestown,” added WarHawks Head Coach Kirk Olimb.

The WarHawks congratulate Ethan on his commitment and wish him all the best as his hockey career continues to move forward.
