BREEZY POINT — The Willmar WarHawks took a four-goal lead, saw it get tied, then poured it in the final period to beat the Breezy Point North Stars, 7-4 on Friday night

The victory improved Willmar’s record to 5-3-1-0 in the NA3HL West Division.

Willmar scored the first four goals of the game and led 4-1 after one period. The WarHawks got goals from Elbridge DeKraii, Angelo Perry, John Kosa and Simon Minch.

]The North Stars (3-7-1-0) then scored the next three goals, tying it at 4-4 at 6:13 of the third period.

Dylan Svoboda’s goal at 10:28, followed by goals by Eli Slagter and Trent Sylvester put the game away.

 

The WarHawks (5-3-1-0) return to the ice at 7:10 p.m. Friday, Oct. 25, against the Alexandria Blizzard at Alexandria’s Runestone Community Center.
