After a scoreless 1st period the Alexandria Blizzard got on the board first at the 9:01 mark of the second on a Matt McIntyre goal. The Blizzard doubled their lead with a short handed goal by Bazl Cook at 6:18 of the third before the WarHawks took advantage of a power play with an unassisted tally from Spencer Bergman. With just shy of 5 minutes left in the third, Christian Kankelfrtitz tied it up with another powerplay goal from Buckingham and Bergman. The game would need a shootout for the extra point and Christian Kankelfrtitz was able to beat Abrahamson once again for the lone SO goal. The WarHawks sit 6 points out of 3rd place in the west with a home and home series with New Ulm this coming weekend.
