Offseason Update

Jun 29, 2018

The Willmar Warhawks, proud members of the NA3HL, are looking forward to their 3rd season in Willmar, and expect it to be the best one yet.  In addition to continually improving the product on the ice, the organization is striving to enhance the Warhawks standing in the community, raise awareness and build relationships with non-profits and good causes, create new and lasting business partnerships and amplify the fan experience at the games.

“We are looking to get our players more involved in the community, volunteering, working with kids,  and helping to promote our business partners,” said Mike Bowman, Director of Business Operations and Associate Head Coach. “It is our goal each year, to make sure that when our players leave after the season, Willmar and the surrounding communities are better than they were when they arrived. While we understand that we are only a small part of the community, our impact can be a positive one that will last.”

Bowman continued, “We plan to have a lot more buzz and excitement at the games, in the stands and the arena.  A renewed effort on the entertainment value, in addition to the level of play, is an ongoing initiative with this organization.”
