Alumni NCAA Commitment Alert – Jeremiah Konkel
The Willmar WarHawks of the NA3HL are proud to announce alumni Forward Jeremiah Konkel has committed to play NCAA Division III hockey for Bethel University of the MIAC Conference!
Konkel 21, 5’8 / 165lb. Forward from Bloomington, MN. Jeremiah spent the 20-21 and 21-22 Seasons with the WarHawks. Really taking off in his 2nd season where he became the WarHawks single season goal record holder scoring 26 to top off his 53 point season. He later went on to be drafted in the NAHL that off season by the Springfield Jr. Blues. But was later offered an opportunity to try out for the St. Cloud Norsemen (NAHL) where he made the most of it and carried on the remainder of the season with them before suffering an injury.
“Konkel always brought such a good attitude and work ethic on and off the ice, Great community and locker room guy, Could play in any situation and is lightning fast. It was to no surprise seeing him not only stick in the NAHL but also contribute at the level he did. The Bethel Royals are very excited to have Jeremiah joining them for the 23-24 season” stated WarHawks General Manager Connor White
