NCAA Commitment Alert – Jake Hosszu

The Willmar WarHawks of the NA3HL are pleased to announce that Defensemen Jake Hosszu has committed to play NCAA Division III hockey for Hameline University of the MIAC Conference!

Hosszu 21, 6’0 / 174lb. Defensemen from Woodbury, MN. Just finished his 3rd season of junior hockey with a NA3HL career stat of 30 points, 9 goals and 21 assists with a +30 +/- over 41 total games. Jake joined the WarHawks for his 2nd stint after beginning the season with the St. Cloud Norsemen (NAHL).
Hosszu arrived in Willmar with a wide range of experience in the NA3HL/NAHL leagues while in 20-21 season playing for the Northeast Generals NAHL/NA3HL teams, Appearing in the Fraser Cup tournament. Then to start off his 21-22 season he got his start with the Minnesota Magicians (NAHL) before joining the WarHawks for his 1st stint in early February. Jake went on to be Tendered by the St. Cloud Norsemen where in the 22-23 season he tallied 3 points in 20 games played before rejoining the WarHawks again in early February of 2023.

Jake is also a top end personality and a favorite among teammates and staff alike.
