The Willmar Warhawks, proud members of the NA3HL, are very excited to welcome Monica Ims to the Hawks family. She will become the Warhawks Billeting Coordinator for the 2018-19 Season.
Monica, who works for the Urgent Care Department at Carris Health, has lived in the Willmar Area for the past 15 years with her husband Brandon, a local business owner. Together they are raising two boys, ages 9 and 11, both of who play in the Willmar Hockey Association. The Ims enjoy being together as a family and have a passion for multiple sports, although hockey is by far their favorite season.
Monica reflected on this past season when the Ims were a billet family for a Warhawks player. “It was a great experience for us. It gave my children a first-hand experience and proof that ‘if you do the work, it pays off’. We are looking forward to the 2018-19 season and I’m excited to find new prospective families, who share our passion, to billet these young men.”
The Warhawks are looking for billets to join the Warhawks family, and host a player for the upcoming season. All billet families receive a pair fo season tickets to the Warhawks games, in addition to a monthly stipend. More details on the billeting program can be found here.
