The Willmar WarHawks of the NA3HL are pleased to announce that Max Jackson has committed to play hockey for North Dakota State University!
Jackson, 20, 5’7” / 170lb forward from Thorton, CO finished his 2nd season with the Willmar WarHawks. He played 94 games with 16 goals, 36 assists and 52 points in his NA3HL career.
“My two years in Willmar were some of the most memorable years of my hockey journey.” Jackson said. “To start off, I would like to thank both of the billet families I had during my time in Willmar — Juli Bohmer, and Bryon and Lisa Thompson. They opened up their homes and made it feel like a home away from home.
I would also like to thank the coaching staff for everything they have done both on and off the ice. You taught me many lessons that I will carry with me forever, and your support and development helped me become a better leader and player.
Warhawks staff: I would like to thank all of the Warhawks staff, from the game-day staff to Charlie, Julia Orth, and Nate. A lot of your hard work goes unnoticed, so thank you for everything you do behind the scenes to make so much happen.
Warhawks fans: Thank you to the Warhawks fans for always showing up and cheering us on no matter the score. Your passion and energy made every home game memorable, and I truly appreciate all of your support.
To my teammates, thank you for some of the most unforgettable memories. From getting up early to get to the rink, to the long bus rides and all the fun activities away from the rink, every single day was a blast to be a part of and thank you for letting me be your Captain.
And finally, thank you to my family for everything you have done along the way. None of this would have been possible without you.”
