Cooper Olson, 20-21 & 21-22 WarHawks goalie, has been selected to play in the 2025 Winter World University Games in Torino, Italy. The United States men’s National University team’s roster was announced yesterday, November 14th, by the American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA). “I’m extremely excited and honored to represent the United States in Italy at the FISU University Games,” Olson said. “I appreciate all the love and support I’ve received from WarHawk friends and family throughout my career and hope to make you all proud!”
Olson was with the WarHawks for two seasons (20-21, 21-22) playing in 33 games. In his tenure, he faced 938 shots, saving 852, with a 91% save percentage. After his 21-22 season with the WarHawks, he committed to play at Purdue University (ACHA Division I). Purdue went on to become champions for the first time in school history in the 23-24 season.
