Cancer Awareness Night a Success

Dec 1, 2018

The Willmar Warhawks showed their fighting spirit, in a tough battle against Breezy Point on Friday Night in Willmar.  The two teams traded goals back and forth for 3 periods, before Breezy Point eventually came out on top 8-7 in overtime on a power-play goal.

It was cancer awareness night at the Civic Center, where cancer survivors and ones we’ve lost were recognized and honored.  Please take some time to pay tribute to the folks who have shared their loved ones with us:  Cancer Awareness Video

Thanks for all who came out and supported the cause on Friday night.  Also thank you to MinnWest Bank who sold out the VIP section and had a great time!

The next home game is Friday, December 7th, against the North Iowa Bulls.  It’s Educators Appreciation Night, as well as Teddy Bear Toss Night!  All school employees get in free with a staff ID.  Gates open at 6:45 pm, Puck drops at 7:30.  Tickets are still available for general admission and VIP (best deal in town) by visiting www.willmarwarhawks.com/tickets.
