The Willmar WarHawks are thrilled to announce that Mikko Brown has tendered with the team.
Brown, 18, 6’3” / 173lb forward, originally from Lappeenranta, Finland played for Eden Prairie High School Varsity boys hockey team this past season. He had played 24 games with 5 goals / 10 assists tallying 15 points.
“Mikko has it all!” Head Coach Payton Ruter said about Mikko. “Size, good skater and can really shoot it. He’s a big presence on the ice and we expect him to fill big shoes on our offense next season.”
“I’m really excited to sign with Willmar. It feels like the right place to take the next step and I’m looking forward to being part of a team that’s hungry to win.” Brown said about tendering with the WarHawks.
The WarHawks organization is excited to have Mikko part of the team for the upcoming 2025-2026 season.
