The Willmar WarHawks are thrilled to announce that Sam Moen has tendered with the team.
Moen, 18, 6’2” / 176lb goalie, from St. Paul, MN played for Mounds View High School Varsity boys hockey team and MN Green Giants 18U AA this past season. He had played 40 with an 89% save percentage.
“Sam is a true competitor,” Head Coach Payton Ruter said about Moen. “He has a mentality of a WarHawk already. Everyday, Sam shows up to the rink hungry. He wants to be the best and battle for his teammates and win games.”
“I am extremely excited to continue my hockey career and contribute to a Junior team. I’m pumped and ready for the next chapter.” Moen said about tendering with the WarHawks.
The WarHawks organization is excited to have Mikko part of the team for the upcoming 2025-226 season.
