REMATCH WITH BLIZZARD ON WEDNESDAY

WARHAWKS AIM FOR MORE CONSISTENCY IN THEIR GAME

The WarHawks went on the road to face the Mason City Toros and Alexandria Blizzard this past weekend. After giving up the 1st goal vs the Toros. The WarHawks battled to create several scoring chances but failed to beat Toros goaltender Drew Blake who earned himself a shutout. WarHawks went on give on to give up 3 more goals in a 4-0 Loss. Saturday night in Alexandria, tough goal given up early caused for further urgency as the WarHawks desperately looked to get on the scoreboard. Tyler Misialek for his 3rd goal of the season tied the game 1 to 1. After some exchanging of goals. The WarHawks went to tie the game again at 3 to 3 with 5.5 seconds remaining in the 2nd period with a Powerplay goal from Nik Johnson. Going into the 3rd The WarHawks gave up a goal again early in the period, and were not able to get another puck past Blizzard goaltender Nolan Lacosse losing 3-6 with an empty netter for the Blizzard to finish the scoring off.

 

The players and staff are confident things will click soon and will be better off after facing some early adversity.
